Speech and Language Evaluations
We provide comprehensive evaluations in order to gain insight regarding your child's speech and language skills within the context of their overall development. Evaluations include a parent interview, administration of assessments, discussion of results, recommendations, and a written report.
We specialize in evaluating:
Speech sound production [Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), Dysarthria, Articulation Disorder, Phonological Disorder]
Receptive and expressive language difficulties
Reading (Phonological Processing, Accuracy, Rate, Fluency, and Comprehension)
Speech and Language Therapy
We develop individualized treatment plans as part of a collaborative process with your family and include specific therapy goals and recommendations for your child.
We provide one-on-one therapy sessions. Your child's sessions are always personalized, evidence-based, and most importantly, fun! Services can be provided in your home, at your child’s daycare, or at your child's school. Caregivers are always encouraged to be active participants in our therapy sessions in order to promote carryover of skills within home and community environments.
We specialize in treating:
Speech sound production disorders [Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), Dysarthria, Articulation Disorder, Phonological Disorder]
Receptive and expressive language disorders
If desired by your family, we will collaborate with other providers (e.g., school-based speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, special education teachers, general education teachers, pediatricians, neuropsychologists, dentists, orthodontists, otolaryngologists) in order to promote generalization of communication skills and consistency across all settings.
Individualized Education Program (IEP) Consultations
We will provide you with the knowledge you need in order to navigate through the IEP process. We will review goals, objectives, present levels of performance, proposed recommendations, school-based assessments, and your child's educational record prior to the IEP meeting and provide you with a clinical opinion and appropriate input. We will make sure you understand your parental rights and feel prepared for your child’s IEP meeting.
Individualized Education Program (IEP)
In addition to an IEP Consultation, we can attend your child's IEP meeting in order to help you advocate for your child’s specific speech, language, and learning needs within their academic setting. We know the IEP process can be complicated and we want to make sure parents feel confident advocating for their children.
New Patient Phone Calls
We offer free 15-minute phone calls for new patients. During this phone call, you will have the opportunity to tell us about your child, ask any questions you may have about their speech, language, and/or learning development, and inquire about scheduling an initial appointment.
